Mixed Media Projects
Julia's mixed media projects are deeply rooted in cultural experiences, drawing inspiration from various traditions and historical contexts. The use of symbolism, motifs, and references to specific cultural practices, allows for a deeper understanding of the themes explored in the work. Each piece is a reflection of personal and collective experiences, and an exploration of how cultural heritage informs our perceptions and emotions.

Neural Tarot — tarot deck created with artificial intelligence trained on the visual codes of different cultures: the database used by the neural network consists of over one hundred examples of decks created from the 15th century to the present day.

What is the cultural code of our time? The "Neural Tarot" is looking for an answer.

Robotic Art x Fashion
A robotic art startup Robohood made its debut at Georgia's fashion event, Metrica. The event marked a groundbreaking moment in the industry, as Robohood unveiled the world's first fashion collection crafted by a robot.

As an artist, I had the privilege to be in this historical event curating one of the parts of the collection.

Robotic Art x Microscope Photography
"Liquid Crystals" is a remarkable fusion of technology and artistic expression. The artwork embodies a harmonious unity, achieved through the combination of individual paintings of liquid crystals, each photographed using a microscope, and then meticulously painted by a robot using acrylic paints.

What does it take to be a successful artist?

There are a variety of answers to this question: experience, talent, time, scandalousness, etc.
This project is dedicated to the study of the artist's career path: using the Stable Diffusion neural network, images were generated that display the non-physical components of the artist's professional success.

Let's try to see how a non-human artist will answer this question: a duet of a robot and a neural network.

Reacting to the sound environment and movements of visitors, the transhumanistic body loses its physical integrity, revealing its own imperfection and asserting the leading role of the senses.

"Восток - 2" - детский оздоровительный лагерь, получивший имя в честь серии пилотируемых космических кораблей. Был открыт в 1945 году в Ленинграде, став местом детства и отрочества для множества советских ребят. Спустя 73 года лагерь прекратил свою работу, оставив тёплую, но саднящую ностальгию в душе тех, кто когда-либо проводил в нём своё лето. В настоящее время территория является заброшенной.
