A robotic art startup Robohood made its debut at Georgia's fashion event, Metrica. The event marked a groundbreaking moment in the industry, as Robohood unveiled the world's first fashion collection crafted by a robot.

As an artist, I had the privilege to be in this historical event curating one of the parts of the collection.

* Robohood - a robotic art startup that developed AI-driven technology & software that allow robotic manipulators to transform any image into an original, bespoke painting using brushes, oil paint, or acrylic colors.

My part of the collection consists of distorted lines and geometrical elements which are metamorphose perspective and imitates optical illusions as a robot breaks boundaries between the digital and physical world, ushering in a new era of fashion that is both visionary and transformative. I thought that the idea of painting such a conception by a robot is very congruent: it gives "digital", "web", and "futuristic" vibes that are right synonyms to the show.
The runway came alive with the live performance by Robohood: a captivating scene where a model sat before a Robotic Painter, her coat transforming into a canvas as the robot delicately painted strokes of art. It was a mesmerizing fusion of technology and fashion, pushing the boundaries of creativity.
The seemingly simple aesthetic of the collection belies the groundbreaking truth that it showcased: the possibility of donning garments adorned with intricate robot-painted designs is no longer a distant future, but a present-day reality.
The experience of curation the world's first robotic art fashion collection was a catalyst for change, opening opportunities for interaction between humans and machines: inviting dialogue, inspiring fresh perspectives, and paving the way for an era of limitless possibilities. This unprecedented fusion of technology and design not only captivated the audience but also ignited a paradigm shift within the industry.
This transformative showcase challenges conventional perceptions of design, demonstrating the potential for collaboration between technology and fashion. The collection's simplicity serves as a powerful testament to the advancements in wearable art and highlights the immense creative potential that can be harnessed through the fusion of human ingenuity and robotic precision.
As we move forward, let us celebrate this remarkable achievement and embrace the exciting opportunities that lie ahead, where fashion and technology intertwine to shape a truly innovative and boundary-pushing future.
